JMultiViewer Free with up to 4 channels preview and monitoring

JMultiViewer Free is targeted to small production and delivery organizations, where it can be freely used for monitoring and detection of input loses and freezes.

The solution supports different input interfaces, such as: NDI®, SD-SDI, HD-SDI, 6G-SDI, HDMI, Composite and Component. With JMultiViewer Free any NewTek NDI® compliant source solution output can be monitored. As for the rest of the interfaces, any BlackMagic capture card can be used.

JMultiViewer Free offers preview and monitoring of up to 4 channels of different kind. The free solution also provides detection of black and freeze video frames, audio silence and noise as well as signal lost. JMultiViewer Free reports all error detections via e-mail, sound alarm or visually in the solution interface. Furthermore, detailed log of all error detections is available. The free version also provides REST API server, which allows integration of with any third party solution.

The freeware version of JMultiViewer is a restricted version of the standard full version of JMultiViewer, where the only limitation of number of input channels are the available system resources. The full version also offers wide variety of IP inputs as well as audio and video codec support.

Coming soon: More great features are already in development.

Akari Ax810 Firmware Direct

Here’s a feature-style look at the — written as if for a tech publication or enthusiast blog. Inside the Akari AX810 Firmware: Precision, Stability, and Hidden Depth At first glance, the Akari AX810 is just another high-performance mechanical keyboard. But lift the keycaps, flip the switch, and dig into its soul — you’ll find the firmware. And that’s where the AX810 transforms from a peripheral into an instrument. 1. The Core: ARM-Powered, Open-Inspired The AX810 runs on a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M0 chip, a step above the usual 8-bit controllers found in budget boards. The firmware itself isn’t fully open-source, but Akari has released a partial SDK — enough for advanced users to tweak debouncing, matrix scanning, and even add custom macros.

What’s surprising? The firmware is built on a modified kernel, giving it low-latency USB polling (true 1000Hz out of the box) and deterministic timing for rhythm games or high-speed typing. 2. Latency Lab Results In testing, the AX810’s firmware consistently delivers sub-2ms input latency over USB — faster than many “gaming” keyboards twice its price. The secret lies in its event-driven matrix scan , which interrupts only on key state changes rather than scanning the entire matrix at fixed intervals. Akari Ax810 Firmware

A hidden toggle (Fn + Right Shift + N) enables “Turbo Scan” — pushing latency down to ~0.8ms, though at a slight cost to battery life on wireless models. Most keyboard firmware treats RGB as an afterthought. Not here. The AX810’s lighting engine runs on a separate co-processor thread , meaning complex lighting effects don’t introduce input lag. You can stack up to 8 layers of animations without stutter. Here’s a feature-style look at the — written
