Absence of major fronts (Serbia, Bulgaria, the Middle East beyond Gallipoli) and overrepresentation of Americans. Also, black soldiers fight for the German Empire—historically inaccurate, but inclusion is commendable. Final Verdict Battlefield 1 is a masterpiece of atmospheric multiplayer design. It dared to abandon the modern setting when every competitor chased jetpacks and wall-running. The result is a chaotic, brutal, and unforgettable shooter that respects its source material while prioritizing fun.
Here’s a detailed, critical review of Battlefield 1 (2016), developed by DICE and published by Electronic Arts. Platform: PC (tested), PS4, Xbox One Developer: DICE Release Date: October 21, 2016 Verdict: A bold, atmospheric, and refreshingly unconventional entry in the FPS genre that trades modern gadgets for raw, visceral chaos. It remains one of the most immersive multiplayer shooters of its generation. 1. Campaign: "War Stories" – A Short but Powerful Anthology Unlike the linear, globe-trotting campaigns of Battlefield 3 and 4 , Battlefield 1 adopts a "War Stories" anthology format (similar to Battlefield V later, but executed better). You play as different soldiers across various fronts of WWI.

I’m actually looking forward to checking this one out. Serbian Film would have been better if not for all the hype surrounding the film. Salo ranks up there with this other film Sweet Movie as beautiful repulsing films I’ll never watch again.
I’m equally repulsed and intrigued by the concept of this film though.
