This is the Factory Reset Protection (FRP). It is a security feature designed to stop thieves. However, if you’ve just reset your WP36 to sell it, give it to a family member, or fix a boot loop, forgetting your old Gmail password can turn your tank-like phone into a useless brick.
In the browser, search for a free file hosting site (like "MediaFire" or "APKPure"). Download a file manager APK or a "FRP Bypass APK" from a trusted developer (e.g., SamFW Tool or AIO FRP ).

Turn on the phone. Select your language. Connect to Wi-Fi (you must connect; otherwise, the next steps won't trigger). This is the Factory Reset Protection (FRP)
When you reach the "Verify your account" screen, tap the email field. The keyboard pops up.
