There are ports, and then there are miracles. When Divinity: Original Sin 2 (DOS2) launched on PC in 2017, it was immediately crowned the king of modern CRPGs—a dense, reactive, physics-driven sandbox where the answer to “Can I do this?” was almost always “Yes.” But porting a 60+ hour behemoth with branching dialogue, elemental interactions, and inventory management to the Nintendo Switch seemed like a fool’s errand.
