When he ran it, instead of a game installer, a terminal window opened: “Hello, Jay. You have 12 hours to steal $2M in GTA Online and transfer it to this wallet. If you fail, your brother’s laptop will be bricked. Refuse? We’ll leak your browser history.” The “1GB parts” were actually a remote access trojan (RAT) targeting modders.

Jay downloaded Part 1 of 15. It was an .exe named “Setup_GTA5_REAL.exe.”

Mia traced the IP, found the hackers were two teens in Russia, and sent their location to the FIB (in-game and real).

Jay had no choice. He played 18 hours straight, pulling off the Diamond Casino heist twice. But the hackers betrayed him — they locked his PC anyway.
