Does anyone have schematics showing ROM banking for the 8001A? The 8001 supports only 64KB total but ROM switching differs between the two models.
Hi everyone,
(Attaching a quick reference table I compiled from PCB photos – correct me if wrong.)
I’m looking for verified ROM dumps for the (and PC-8001A). This is the machine that kicked off NEC’s successful PC-8000 series in 1979, predating even the PC-8801 and PC-9801. I’m working on emulation accuracy and also repairing a physical unit with corrupt system PROMs.
Let’s pool our preservation efforts. Thanks!
