While Most Wanted is the better all-around package, Carbon is the more interesting and atmospheric experience.
The result is one of the most atmospheric, stylistically rich, and tragically overlooked entries in the franchise’s history. The open world of Palmont City, while gorgeous with its stark day/night transitions and neon-drenched canyons, feels smaller and less memorable than Rockport.
