It solves one of the most frustrating problems in video editing: stealing the exact color grade from any image. What does it actually do? In plain English: You feed it a "Source" image (your flat, log-format video frame) and a "Target" image (a cinematic still from a movie, a moody photo from Instagram, or a vintage Kodachrome scan). The app analyzes the color relationship between the two and spits out a 3D LUT (CUBE file) .
