The vocals (courtesy of the mysterious vocalist known only as “V.A.”) are treated with a flanger so intense they sound like they are singing from the bottom of a well. is not easy listening. It is a ritual. It requires headphones, darkness, and a willingness to sit with your own ghosts. The production choices here answer that question
