The Quinxes are human investigators surgically implanted with a Quinque Steel frame called a that allows them to manifest a Quinque (ghoul weapon) from their own bodies. They are essentially half-human, half-ghoul hybrids, similar to Ken Kaneki, but more stable and under CCG control.
